Do the meeting agenda give you a sense that you are in for a long meeting? What parliamentary authority does your organization follow? Maybe it’s the phase “we’ve always done it that way.” This six-week series, Tuesdays Jan. 13 thru Feb. 17, will demonstrate how following Robert‘s Rules of Order can produce fairer and more efficient meetings while protecting the rights of all to be heard. Ever sit in a meeting and wonder what just happened? Have you heard “Madam or Mr. Chairperson “I so Move.” So Move What? Does the meeting agenda give you a sense that you are in for a long meeting? What parliamentary authority does your organization follow? Maybe it’s the phase “we’ve always done it that way.” This class will demonstrate how following Robert‘s Rules of Order can produce fairer and more efficient meetings while protecting the rights of all to be heard.
