POP UP DAY CRUISE

It will be a great day to be on the water tomorrow (Saturday) so Dawn and I are taking our boat Chapter II towards Burnt Store tomorrow to anchor and hang out for the day relaxing, SUPing and maybe kayaking. Some other Seafarers will be on board with us.! It is supposed to be calm winds. Please feel free to take your boat or jetski and join us for a fun afternoon.
Our intended anchorage location is: Saturday, January 23 Noon - 3:00pm - 5.5 nm south of Alligator Creek inlet, 0.5 nm south of Pirate Harbor entrance, we'll anchor in 5-6 feet of water off the mangroves. The charts sometimes label this as "Key Point" - Approach the spot directly from the West to avoid shallow water extending north and south of Pirate Harbor entrance. You will see Chapter II (a Leopard 39 powercat) anchored there by about 11:45am. You can RSVP by commenting here, or just show up tomorrow! We will be monitoring VHF channel 71.
