What is the BOB?

Beyond Ourselves volunteers organize and hold an annual fundraising event, the Beyond Ourselves Bash (BOB), in support of two of our mission pillars: aiding the homeless of Charlotte County and protecting the wildlife of Charlotte County. Proceeds from the BOB support the Charlotte County CARE Center and the Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC).

This event could not take place without the many Beyond Ourselves volunteers and our generous community sponsors and partners.

How can you help?

	• Help arrange the venue		• Plan the party theme and other details
	• Assist with identifying and procuring sponsors		• Boost publicity and social media efforts
	• Organize or donate live/silent auction and wine pull items		• Manage ticket sales
	• Coordinate or participate as event volunteers		• Brainstorm and assemble party decorations

The 2024 Beyond Ourselves Bash (The BOB)

The 2024 BOB was held on November 6th and was a tremendous success!

Guests enjoyed a Cork & Vine themed evening at the Isles Yacht Club including dinner, dancing, live music by Ron Lorenzo, silent & live auctions, a wine pull, and a 50/50 raffle.

The 2024 BOB had 194 attendees and raised $40,524! Proceeds from the BOB will benefit Charlotte CARES (formerly the Charlotte County Homeless Coalition) and the Peace River Wildlife Center (PRWC).

Kudos to the entire BOB Committee on this outstanding event!
