We are always looking for those who wish to experience the joy of playing acoustic instruments in a respectful group setting. Feeling reluctant about playing with a group? Fear not because our members quickly learn that we are a friendly, non-threatening group of musicians with widely varying skill levels.

Backgammon Contact Us

Revive the fun and frustration of BACKGAMMON at PGICA every Monday afternoon. We are a congenial and helpful group and even allow groans for a bad roll. We meet every Monday from 2 to 4 in Room Two. BUNCO BUDDIES is the newest GROUP at PGICA – sprung from a year and a half of games hosted by the Newcomers Club. If you can roll 3 dice, you can play Bunco* - no skill involved, purely a game of chance. Beginners welcome - you’ll be an expert after one round.

Great for meeting others because you change teammates every round. Come alone, with a friend, even a spouse. We play the 1^st Tuesday of each month, starting at 6:30, ending by 9:00 (including cleanup). If possible, please register (and cancel if you can’t make it) so we have the right number of tables/supplies set up and can start on time. Click Bunco Buddies Home Page to get details/register.

*the only physical requirement is you do get up and change tables with each hand -- unless you WIN!

Bridge - Ladies Friday Contact Us

We meet every Friday at 12:30 p.m. When everyone arrives, we start the game. All players are required to be members of PGICA. To join the Association, please call the front desk at 941-637-1655 to have an application mailed to you or sign-up online at pgica.org and select the "Membership" tab. Bridge - Monday Night Duplicate Contact Us

We play at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday of the month. Anyone who is a member of the Civic Association is invited to join us (Bring a partner.) If you wish to play and want additional information, please click on "Contact Us" link above.

Bridge - Men's Social Contact Us

Bridge - Couples Contact Us

Couples Bridge meets at 1 p.m. the first and third Wednesday each month at the Civic Association. We are a fun group and invite anyone wanting to play and enjoy a nice afternoon.

Bridge - Round Robin Group Contact Us

We invite all bridge players to join our fun group. We are an active couples bridge club where two pairs meet in a member’s home approximately twice a month. We are flexible. Any two friends are welcome to participate as a “couple.” Games begin in November and must be played by the end of February. You arrange the time which is convenient to you and your opponents, so if you are a Snowbird, or gone for an extended period, your games can be scheduled for when you are here. Canasta/Hand and Foot Contact Us

We play every Thursday at noon. We draw cards for partners and play until about 4 p.m. This is a fun group - we play for laughs. No sign-up required. Euchre Card Group Contact Us

The Euchre Group is playing on Friday evening at 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm at PGICA during high season. We are finished for the season and will start playing again in the fall. Stay tuned for updates. Poker - Texas Hold'em Game Contact Us

Hi poker players! Ever wanted to play “Texas Hold’em” as seen on television? If you enjoy the game this is your opportunity to play with other PGI members.

We play “Tournament Style” and it’s a great chance to improve your game, meet others who share your enjoyment in playing Texas Hold”em. You can join us each month on the 2nd and 4th Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. This is a social game open to PGICA members only.

Hofer Men’s Golf Club Contact Us

The Men’s Hofer Golf group plays every Thursday morning at various 18-hole courses throughout the area. You get to play with different foursomes each week, so you are always meeting new players. You are not committed to play every week. Get on the player list, and then you will receive an email invitation with information on the next Thursday’s play. If you are interested, click on “sign-up” button to get green fees and tee times. If you decide to play, click on “submit and sign-up” button, and your name will automatically be entered and either confirmed as a player or stand-by.
