About this event

We invite you to come to our next Afternoon Social which are designed to tell us about the history, traditions, people and stories that have made Punta Gorda such a unique and charming place to call home.

This month, we are pleased to have as our guest speaker Libby Schaefer, author of The Ladies of Punta Gorda. She will tell us in an entertaining way about some of the women who had a significant impact on the history and development of Punta Gorda.

Thursday, September 24 from 1 PM to 2 PM. Doors open at 12:30 PM.

This event is a Free event Open to the public. Bring a friend or neighbor and show them what a great association we have.

As always, seating is limited, so you are encouraged to register in advance to reserve your spot.

You are welcome to BYOB and Snacks if you like.

There will be a 50/50 raffle, plus each attendee will receive a complimentary door prize ticket for a chance to win a signed book by Libby.
