At this month's meeting, the list of board member candidates for the next watch, which begins in March, will be presented. Members in attendance will have the opportunity to vote to approve this slate of candidates.
Our 50/50 raffle will be held, so please bring cash (small bills) to participate in this fun, and potentially rewarding, activity.
This month's education segment will be presented by Jeffery Slinger, Petty Officer 3rd Class Boatswain Mate, USCG - back by popular demand! Born and raised in Florida, Petty Officer Slinger lives in Cape Coral with his wife and two children and is an avid fisherman.. He’s been in the USCG nearly six years and has served on a 270-foot cutter out of Kittery, Maine.

Our Education Director, Mark Janus, has posed several questions to Jeff for discussion at the meeting, including
Flares: pyrotechnic vs. electronic
Search & rescue: the search for the two men that were never found but their boat was off the SW coast of Ft Myers
Navigation on Alligator Creek: who has jurisdiction for infringement
