We have selected Southwest Florida Honor Flight as the recipient of this year's Newcomers Club charitable holiday giving drive.

The sole purpose of Honor Flights is straightforward and pure spirited:  To safely transport US Veterans to Washington, DC, to be honored at their memorials and receive the welcome home they deserve.

A typical Honor Flight includes an early morning send-off for the veterans, a flight to Washington, DC, and a day of visits to national war memorials and other significant sites, such as the World War II Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery, with a special focus on providing community support and homecoming celebrations for veterans.

We will be collecting donations (cash or check) at the Gala as well as throughout the month of December at other Newcomers events and encourage all members to contribute to this remarkable charitable program.  Please make checks payable to Southwest Florida Honor Flight.
