Take a trolley ride through the Pinecraft Amish Community area of Sarasota and learn about their culture. This 1 hour and 30 minute tour will introduce us to the history of their beliefs, values and traditions and how they are practiced in daily life right here in Sarasota, Florida. More than 500 Amish and Mennonite families live here year round and more than 5,000 return as tourists each season. We will stop at several spots and see the lifestyle of the Amish first-hand.  This is a very popular Discover Sarasota tour and usually sells out in season.   Paradise Friends has reserved all 30 seats on the Trolley for March 27th, 2025.

Cost for Trolley Tour is $52.00 per person payable by credit card or $50 by cash or check. Make cash or check payments to Paradise Friends and drop off to the PGICA or drop off or mail to:

Please be at Discover Sarasota Tours, 1826 4th Street, Sarasota by 9:30 a.m. to board the bus.  The tour starts promptly at 10:00 a.m.  There is free parking just across the street. The drive from Punta Gorda is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.  You might look to see who else is going and work out carpooling.

After the tour those who would like to will drive back to popular Amish Restaurant,  Der Dutchman, to enjoy a delicious Amish lunch, ordering from their menu at your expense.
