The Community Committee has scheduled Kelly Gaylord, President of the Punta Gorda Historic Mural Society to be our speaker. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about this organization, their murals that are displayed at various locations in Punta Gorda, and the history and inspiration behind them.
In addition, Ms. Gaylord's newly published book,
Painting the Town - 30 Years of Murals, History and the Stories Discovered Along the Way, will be available for purchase at the meeting for a cost of $30.00.
