About this event
New class! Muscle toning with Cardio Tabata: Mondays and Thursdays, Starting Dec. 5, 8:45 to 9:45 a.m., $10 per class. A Tabata workout is a high-intensity interval training (HIIT) exercise that involves alternating 30 seconds of intense exercise with 15 seconds of rest. This is a great workout to get your heart rate up, while toning your muscles. Participants will be led through a full body workout using resistance bands and/or bodyweight that will improve muscle tone, stamina, and stability. The class is easily modified based on individual needs, and is appropriate for men or women. Please bring a beach towel or yoga mat for floor work. Bands will be provided, but feel free to bring your own or hand weights. Instructor: Cathy Wetzelberger. Participants will register and pay as they attend at the PGICA office: 2001 Shreve Street, Punta Gorda. 941-637-1655. All PGICA classes are open to the public, walk-ins welcome.
