Two fishermen running to the June meeting, our membership is exceptional.
Here we are in July already, and boy ‘o’ boy has it been a hot summer so far! Thank goodness for air-conditioned homes, cars, restaurants and even some of our boats. Because, trying to stay cool in the summer months is tough here in paradise.
So how do you stay cool? Stay home, splash in the pool, drive around in your air conditioned car, maybe not at over $4.00 per gallon, go shopping, or come join a club at the air conditioned facility of the PGICA. What an idea... meet new people, learn new things, enjoy the satisfaction a club can give you. The secret to a good club is membership involvement, so get involved.
If you haven’t ventured into a PGICA club experience yet, then I invite you to come see us at the PGI Fishing Club. Our membership is open and we turn no one way. You just need to be a paid member of the PGICA and you, too, can boast about being a member of the finest fishing club in the area.
What does the second Tuesday of every month bring? Ninety minutes plus, filled with fishing information and social activities. Our next regular meeting is scheduled at 7:00pm, July 8th, 2008 in the PGICA building. Stop in once as our guest and see what we have to offer, I’m sure you’ll be pleased.
And don’t forget to enjoy the greatest pastime of all: FISHING in our great waters.
