The Legacy of the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association

We are fortunate to live in an area with a unique quality of life. Since 1962 the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association has provided stability to our area through our various activities within the Association and throughout Punta Gorda.

We have helped build our community by:

  • Fostering friendships through our many social and special interest clubs
  • Serving as an educational, cultural and charitable resource
  • Participating in local government
  • Communicating critical information
  • Assisting with moving and estate sales
  • Bringing in top quality entertainment
  • Supporting Marine watch and canal clean-up efforts
  • Providing meeting space for community organizations
  • Publishing The Commentator
