The PGI Paddlers closed their 2009-2010 kayaking season with a pleasant cruise on Shell Creek, our all-time favorite place for spending a day on the water. We are blessed having access to a place like Shell Creek. We had a cool, sunny morning, with only a gentle breeze blowing through the palms. It was a wonderful way to close our season and ensure our return to kayaking come fall. There is nothing like quietly paddling up a shaded, palm-lined stream, watching the wild life and listening to the wind blow through the trees. Afterward, several members gathered at Beef O’Bradys for lunch and re-hydration.
