Are you new to Punta Gorda Isles?

Would you like to meet new friends and find out more about your community?

Then the Newcomers Club is the place you want to be.. We are a social club whose purpose is to help new PGICA members feel more at home in their adopted environment. We offer activities that promote involvement and interaction among members and provide information about the community and the area.

All of our members are in the same situation as you. You have moved to beautiful Punta Gorda. You are ready to establish a new social network and meet people who have come to Punta Gorda from all areas of the U.S., Canada, and other parts of the world. In the Newcomers Club you will connect with others who share your interests and are sure to become good friends for years to come.

The Newcomers Club offers regular functions every month, both in large groups and in more intimate settings. Start by being our guest at Happy Hour, held 5-7 p.m. the first and third Wednesdays of each month at St. Andrews South Golf Club, 1901 Deborah Drive (corner of Bal Harbor), in Punta Gorda. Or, you can attend our monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association, 2001 Shreve Street.

To find out more, go to our website http://newcomers.peapps.com. There you will find information on many of our ongoing activities, lists of current officers and chairmen, and a membership application form. Membership forms are also available at the PGICA office.

For additional information, please contact our Membership Director, Steve Brown at steve@paynlesstravel.com or 810-522-5431
